Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
Restored driver side (left hand) front wheel lip moulding / trim for your Mercury Cougar. These look great, and because they have the correct anodized finish, they will not get dull like a part that has only been polished.
Ford part # C7WY-16039-A.
*NOTE* This is a core exchange item only, trim will not ship until your acceptable moulding core is received by WCCC.
Why do we require cores be sent for a used piece of trim?We
pull the best of our used cores and make them available for those who
do not want or need a restored piece of trim, but in order to keep a
viable supply of cores to send in to be refurbished we need a restorable
core in exchange. If you do not have a core, or wish to send in your
core at a later date, we have cores for purchase.
For more info on aluminum trim restoration & core exchanging, check out our video below.
We also have a much cheaper alternative to these restored mouldings. Check out the
reproduction 71-3 Mustang mouldings, which can be easily modified to fit a 67/68 Cougar (see video below).
