    Description

Restored driver side (left hand) front wheel lip moulding / trim for your Mercury Cougar. These look great, and because they have the correct anodized finish, they will not get dull like a part that has only been polished.

    Ford part # C7WY-16039-A.

    *NOTE*
This is a core exchange item only, trim will not ship until your acceptable moulding core is received by WCCC.

Why do we require cores be sent for a used piece of trim?

We pull the best of our used cores and make them available for those who do not want or need a restored piece of trim, but in order to keep a viable supply of cores to send in to be refurbished we need a restorable core in exchange. If you do not have a core, or wish to send in your core at a later date, we have cores for purchase.

For more info on aluminum trim restoration & core exchanging, check out our video below.

We also have a much cheaper alternative to these restored mouldings. Check out the reproduction 71-3 Mustang mouldings, which can be easily modified to fit a 67/68 Cougar (see video below).

    This item must ship via

When sending us your core(s), we will need a copy of your invoice. Or at the very least, your invoice number which is located at the top left corner of your original invoice. We will also need the date of your purchase.

Once you have your trim cores packed, we suggest that you take them outside and throw them up into the air as high as you can. After your box lands, jump on it. If you do not think that it will survive, you have not packed it well enough. We have discovered that this type of abuse is typical with shipping. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur in shipping.

Do not send us pretzel shaped parts, parts you have attempted to fix yourself, or flattened out parts. We need trim parts showing only MINOR dents, dings, dullness, or scratches.

Due to the difficulty in obtaining trim we no longer sell these without first having you send us your cores.

Keep in mind we buy most trim and mouldings found on a Cougar.
