Correct size and style white square plastic insert that clips onto front or rear license plate bracket on any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar. Each kit allows one license plate to be mounted. The actual screw has a large head which is made for license plates, but is not the factory Ford style of fastener for Concours judged cars. New black screws for attaching the headlight doors to all 1967-68 Mercury Cougars. Four screws needed per side for a total of 8 per car. We have found 3 different styles of separate screws that were used during the 1967-68 model run, San Jose and Dearborn may have accounted for a difference. This one matches exactly to one of the more common ones that were installed. Replaces Ford Part number 376352-S15.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. You will notice the reproduction has a larger head (The two on the right in the lower picture are repros) than both of the used versions typically found on 67-73 Cougars. Unlike our un-restored used door glass trim and are sold in pairs only. If you are doing a concours correct restoration then these would not be for you as they have been "over restored" to a mirror like finish. The down fall of having such a mirror like finish is they get finger prints on them every time you touch them. The good part is they look HOT! Very nice touch to that resto-mod that cannot get enough bling.When sending cores, they must be in good shape or an upgrade core fee will apply....

Repro bushings (pair) that mount to the grille for the headlamp operating shafts. These hardly ever survive after 40 years. Technically not needed, and most never knew they existed. Sold as a pair, one for each side. When mounted these are tight, it was no wonder they are seldom seen on cars. Even the NOS bushings are tight. We recommend polishing the headlight shaft with emery or sand paper, to make both sides smooth. Definitely add a little bit of lubricant too. Replaces Ford part number...

UPDATE 11-19-20: We still do not have the shaft seal dialed in but we are offering this kit with a proven substitute seal until further notice. This kit will recondition most FoMoCo headlamp actuators built from 1967 into the 70's on most any Thunderbird, Torino, Lincoln, Cyclone or Marquis. The kit will service two actuators even though many cars only come with one center mounted unit.
