This is the grade “B” passenger side (right hand) front bumper filler and is what we find on the majority of our parts cars. These used hard rubber parts will have some sort of blemish in that they may be slightly warped, chipped or have a visible scratch. Steel wool is a good way to clean them up and boiling them in water before install can often times make them appear less warped. Used dash face pad for the standard Mercury Cougar that is NOT equipped with air conditioning. This unit will be nice and will not have any cracks, but could use a reproduction emblem and a coat of good vinyl paint to make it look great. Reproduction Center Grille Insert Background Decal for the 1967 and 1968 Mercury Cougar. This insert will need to be shaved down on 2 sides to fit correctly, do not force the insert into the grille, it will pooch up in the middle and not adhere correctly. Nice reproduction that is "almost" spot on. Of the two versions available this one has much more definition. When you put an original next to this reproduction you will notice the original has a more raised, defined face on the Mercury Man.

This restored trim piece mounts to the back of the vent frame of any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Passenger side only, made of galvanized steel. This was originally a 6 piece set for both the Convertible and Coupe. It could be ordered as a stand alone or part of the protection package which included door edge guards, bumper guards and floor mats. The door strip is the longest and can be cut to fit the fenders or quarter panels.

The 1967 XR7 did not have rocker panel mouldings as did the 1968 - 1973 XR7 Cougars. All 1967 XR7 models came equipped with these "Hash" marks fastened to the rear of both rockers, at a rear tilting angle.
