    Description

This conversion will replace the old, tired, vacuum system that likes to leak and wear out.

This kit consists of two electric actuator assemblies (new Mazda Miata motor) with a plug and play wiring loom for easy installation. Simply remove all existing vacuum components and replace with this kit to have headlight covers that work under any conditions with the car running or not. These new motors are smoother and more reliable than previous versions that utilized the Ford Probe motors and are fully adjustable. There is a provision for the Halo light conversions if your car is so equipped. Do not be fooled by the multiple knock offs out there. This is a quality set-up with plugs that integrate with your original wiring, powder coated bracketry (not reconditioned motors) and the WCCC service you have grown accustomed to. Keep in mind we can offer in store credit for your quality used take off vacuum parts. They are not highly valuable but others who want to keep their car very original will be grateful and WCCC can issue a call tag for shipping via UPS.

    Detailed instruction sheet included.

If you have a high performance engine with low vacuum, this is a must have kit for your Cougar.

Actuator Heim joints are fully adjustable to keep your grille and headlight lids nice and straight without slack. Another advantage of this electric system is that it doesn't put constant pressure on your grille like the original vacuum system does.

These kits have a 3 year full warranty against manufacturer defects.

Latest and greatest kit. Very well made and a true plug and play wiring kit. Very easy instructions. My headlights and grille really lined up well. If you watch the WCCC video (which is very good BTW) is of the previous kit, take note that the newest kit has most of the connections are on the passenger side. Highly recommend this kit!

    Pros:
    • open evenly and quickly
    • Easy assembly after watching video
    Cons:
    • All the wiring should be soldered
    • crimped connections
Easy to install, the only reason I dinged for craftsmanship is the wiring is crimped in the pins for the connector and one of them came loose. Quick fix by soldering the pin back onto the wire and pushing pin back into the connector. They open nice and smooth and precise. I am Quite happy with is so far.

    Pros:
    Cons:
Lots of bang for your buck here, and easy enough to install with the included instructions. The ready to go wiring harness which is included makes it extra nice. No more vacuum leaks or uneven/slowly closing headlight doors. I have another Cougar with a perfectly working vacuum system but I'll eventually swap those out for these as well, because their function is vastly superior.
