This is a 100% accurate reproduction down to the captured lock washer and black Zinc coating. The only difference is that these are made from a substantially better grade of steel than the originals. These often break when you try to remove them to replace the vacuum actuator so if you are planning on doing that procedure we highly recommend buying these in conjunction with the actuators. Sold individually, two required per car. Cougar part number C7SZ-13A173-A.

    Also Fits:

    • 1967 Ford Thunderbird T-Bird
    • 1968 Ford Thunderbird T-Bird
    • 1969 Ford Thunderbird T-Bird
    • 1969 Lincoln Continental MK III
    • 1970 Lincoln Continental MK III
    • 1971 Lincoln Continental MK III

I've looked through your video library on youtube and couldn't find one that addresses the removal of the pivot pin on the bottom of a vacuum actuator. Please advise. Tks, Jim

We did not film that part as we couldn't find a way to get a good camera angle to see what was going and because there really is no trick to that. Just follow the instructions in the Grille Tips Part 1 video to rotate the grille half to give you a little more space to get your hands and socket wrench down around the actuator, get the right sized socket on the nut and break it loose. When you reassemble remember to use some lithium grease on the part of the bolt that the actuator pivots on.
