    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

*Note - This is a core exchange item only, trim will not ship until your acceptable moulding core is received by WCCC.

Why do we require cores be sent for a used piece of trim?

We pull the best of our used cores and make them available for those who do not want or need a restored piece of trim, but in order to keep a viable supply of cores to send in to be refurbished we need a restorable core in exchange. If you do not have a core, or wish to send in your core at a later date, we have cores for purchase.

Good used wheel lip moulding with no corrosion, obvious scratches or dents. Will have some what rough texture down low on the leading edge from road debris. This moulding will still have a good shine but do not expect NOS quality from a used piece of aluminum such as this one. If you are sending us a core in exchange please do not send twisted, ripped, corroded parts for an exchange. Dull, slightly dented, warped or scratched (not gouged) trim parts are OK as cores. If you are in question as to whether your core is worthy of restoration or not please send us a digital picture prior to sending your cores so as not to waste money on shipping.

    This item must ship via

When sending us your core(s), we will need a copy of your invoice. Or at the very least, your invoice number which is located at the top left corner of your original invoice. We will also need the date of your purchase.

Once you have your trim cores packed, we suggest that you take them outside and throw them up into the air as high as you can. After your box lands, jump on it. If you do not think that it will survive, you have not packed it well enough. We have discovered that this type of abuse is typical with shipping. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur in shipping.

Do not send us pretzel shaped parts, parts you have attempted to fix yourself, or flattened out parts. We need trim parts showing only MINOR dents, dings, dullness, or scratches.

Due to the difficulty in obtaining trim we no longer sell these without first having you send us your cores.

Keep in mind we buy most trim and mouldings found on a Cougar.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...

My 1971 Cougar XR7 was retrofitted with a Ford “400”, Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carb, TCI Street Fighter trans, B & M Hammer shifter, and dual turbo exhaust. While this sounds interesting, the Cougar itself was seriously neglected and...

WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
