C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality

*NOTE* Due to the difficulty in obtaining 69 aluminum trim we no longer sell these without first having you send us your cores. Keep in mind we pay well for quality 69 hood lip mouldings. Do not contact us with pretzel shaped parts, parts you have attempted to fix or flattened out parts. We require trim parts showing only minor dings / dents, scratches and dullness.
These restored mouldings have the correct "bright dip" anodized finish and look almost like NOS! This set is offered at a great price and is better quality than many NOS trim parts as they often show the scars of 40 years of shelf wear. Note, we cannot restore torn, smashed, or heavily damaged cores. If you are in question as to whether your cores can be restored or not please send us a picture and we will let you know whether you should send them to us for credit or exchange. *Tip* Even if your restored trim part was never dented it still will be about 15-20% thinner after restoration and of course more if there was dents that were removed. These parts are buffed down to the point where the tiny "craters" or "divots" disappear. These craters are caused by road debris colliding with your soft aluminum trim at XX MPH. I would suggest adjusting the tabs on your six clips for the hood lip until they slide into place with minimal effort and then finger tightening them. I have rather large "mechanic" hands so you might actually need to snug them with an end wrench. Be really careful with the eyebrows as well as these are delicate parts and the three clips that hold them in place are very sharp. Make sure the threads on the clips are clean so as not to put unnecessary pressure on the trim part when tightening them.
New eyebrow attaching clips with nuts available here.
We will be flexible in what cores you send. For example, two lefts are as good to us as one left and one right, two hood lip mouldings and no eyebrows even better! Keep in mind we pay well for quality 69 hood lip mouldings.
