    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

These driver quality passenger side headlight buckets are mostly solid but will have a small bend, hairline crack or the beginnings of rust in the corner closest to the battery. With minimal work they can be show quality or can be used for a driver as is.

*NOTE* These parts are far more important than most people realize. If they structural integrity for any reason be it rust, collision or failed spot welds, you will be damaging your grille in a very short time. The vacuum actuators housed in these brackets are very powerful and if these brackets do not give the support they were designed to then the pressure is now transferred to the chromed die cast portion of the grille and misalignment and cracks will result. Cougar part numbers C7WY-13A158-B - passenger side. C7WY-13A159-B - driver side. Support - Headlamp hinge.

    Cons:
The headlight mounting buckets on my 67 cat were repaired so many times the became unrepairable. I ordered a set of B grade buckets from WCCC. This passenger side only had surface rust and the hole where the horn mount was cracked and worn. After a run through the sandblast, an alcohol bath, self etching prime and finally new paint. I will say these could pass as A-. I'm happy and best of all my grill won't be going anywhere.

    Pros:
    Cons:
I'm disappointed at the amount of rust on one of the two Grade B headlight buckets I purchased. One third of it has surface rust that is up to 1/16" deep, so it's going to take an hour of sandblasting to get down to bare metal. I should've paid $50 more for the Grade A part.

These headlight buckets were rated Grade B by WCCC. When the parts arrived and I opened the box I was expecting the worse. However, once I saw the parts I could not have been happier! They were in excellant condition with no dents or rusted through areas which is hard to find with these particular parts. If I needed anymore used parts I wouldn't hesitate to order from WCCC again.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
