When we say the "vintage casting look", we mean with the proper groove and contours. Reproductions are fine, but do not retain the casting design of the original casting company. When looking for used brake drums, the rule of thumb is to find ones with a brake surface area of 1/4 inch more than the brake shoe width.

These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....

Reproduction batter bracket or clamp for battery installation. "L" bracket attaches to the battery apron and steps down for the battery hold down clamp. Not sure which cars got this, but likely was for the larger sized battery. Fits 1967-68 Cougar and Mustang including Shelby Mustang. USA made preproduction part.

Hot idle compensator valve assembly for many Ford engines with PCV, starting in 1964 through early 1968. Typically found on 1964-66 Ford 260-2V, and 289-2 engines with air conditioning. 1967-68 289-2V, 302-2V and some 390 engines all with air conditioning and PCV or closed emissions. The Ford assembly manual indicates that the Hot Idle Compensator Valve 'T' Assembly, was installed by removing 3/4 inches of the PCV hose, 2-1/4 inches (on center of the PCV valve). This is an original NOS hot idle compensator for Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang models with V-8 engine and factory A/C. It is installed in the middle of the hose that connects the PCV valve to the rear of the carburetor spacer.
