These rear view mirror lenses are sold on an exchange basis.  Due to time constraints, we can no longer offer the service of having your own mirror restored, this is now an exchange based service only.  We STRONGLY suggest you watch our "how to" video prior to attempting to remove your lens and send it in. Keep in mind glass is porous and is prone to staining. Often times these faint stains do not show up until the glass has been re-silvered. About 1 in 8 mirrors seem to have...

Replaces the original Ford part that features a # C7SB-17B732-A casting number. Basically correct for 1967 but works just as well on 1968 mirrors. These nuts are are not 100% correct for a 67 or 68, kind of a mixture of both.Very nice chrome quality at a reasonable price. *NOTE* While our mirror nut removal tool work / fit perfectly with the original mirror nuts, you will find the tool will need to be filed a little to fit this reproduction nut properly. We still highly suggest you...

We have created all of the components needed to economically install the steel nutsert or Riv-nut for the exterior mirrors that mount to the car doors. Our steel Riv-nut uses a 1/4 inch hole. You will need a 5/32 Allen or hex key, 3/8 inch wrench, and a 7/16 inch wrench. The Riv-nut needs to be assembled on the kit as shown prior to installation. The assembly is installed flush, in the pre-drilled hole. The Allen wrench and the 7/16 are held stationary, while the 3/8 wrench is used to tighten...

This kit is similar to the original type mounted in every drivers side door. These OEM style Riv-Nuts will be a challenge to install unless you have the special tool. Almost every body shop will have this rivet gun type of tool but here are a couple of ways to tackle the installation without the correct tool. Hole size is 1/4". Replaces Ford Part #: C7AZ-17696. Check out our video below for more info on mirror installation: Still have riv-nut questions? Here are riv-nut answers! ...

If your are missing your factory Riv-Nuts, or you are installing a passenger side mirror, these are a very easy to use alternative to the metal riv-nuts we offer. Another good application for these is when your existing mirror mounting holes are "hogged out" these slightly over sized inserts are just the ticket. Keep in mind our kit is not only less money than others you may find but the screws are stainless steel. Hole size for these rubber inserts is 3/8". Keep in mind the upper lip stands a...

This is a mirror nut bezel tool used to remove the mirror nut on the 1967 - 1968 and 1970 - 1973 Cougar. No more scratches trying to remove with the wrong tools. These are made from HRS steel and are milled to fit the bezel nut. This tool pays for itself each time you use it. *NOTE* This is an exact fit for used bezels but you will find it does not fit our 67-68 repro bezel exactly and will need some filing. It does fit the 1970 - 1973 reproduction bezel perfectly. Also note that 1969 used a...

This is a grade 'A' used mirror assembly with no UV damage and has had the mirror lens "re-silvered". Fine scratches but great for the guy who wants original. The Reproduction does not have the II-DMI-6 lettering at the bottom like this original. You will have to carefully peel (roll back) the aluminum backing that is glued in place before gluing it in your mirror. If you use needle nose pliers and take your time it usually works fine. Note that the pictures of our 67-68 mirrors and lens can be deceiving. This is a tapered mirror, the narrow end faces upward on a Cougar, it is reversed when...

This is an exact replacement for a 1970 remote sport mirror. Nearly indistinguishable from a 1968. Obviously a larger ball and longer than found on 1969, 1971-73 remote mirrors. This threaded replacement wand will require you to cut 8/32" fine threads in your original controller. Your OEM mirror controller is made of a very soft metal so one can often install these as "self tapping".1967 and 1968 are different, see comparison picture. The 1968 version was rounded off due to new safety...
