1968 Ford Mustang

Crankshaft oil slinger for all small block Ford V-8's, starting 1963 until at least through 1973. 1963-68 289 and 289 HiPo engines. 1968-73 302 engines, 1969-70 Boss 302 engines, 1969-73 351W engines. Goes on the crankshaft after the timing gear and before the timing chain cover. It does have a purpose on the vintage engines. Outside diameter about 2-7/8 inches. Ford part number C3OZ-6310-A.

Good original part that has not been noticeably twisted, bumped, bent, or heavily rusted. Notice the factory indentations that are a result of the manufacturing process (dent from jig). The W code Cougar 427 GTE used these heads on a side oiler rotating assembly with a hydraulic cam and Medium Riser aluminum intake - the so called "PI" C7AE version. 427 cylinder heads that have the J's have provision for 14 bolt exhaust manifolds. Reproduction 390 4V GT Emission Decal for the 1968 and 1969 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

Controversy abounds on which shrouds received these and which did not. It is our understanding that no early Cougars came from the factory with this decal installed. This decal first surfaced when Ford had major problems with their flex fans in the early 1970's. We will let you decide if it is correct for your application... Reproduction Sun Visor Decal Starting Instructions for the 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang 

Replaces Ford part #C8AZ-6223362-A. Sold in pairs, four required per car, used on most Ford products. We often get calls like "How do I remove my front window cranks?" Unlike the rear cranks that are held on by an Allen set screw, the fronts have a Phillips screw under this decal. If you are careful, often you can reuse your original and glue it back in place.
