Three wire tachometer for 67 - 68 Cougar. Ford wired their early (pre ‘74) tachometers so that they are part of the ignition circuit. What this means is that if the tachometer goes bad, the engine shuts OFF. It also means that you must either replace it with another series type tachometer with 35+ year old circuitry or install a jumper wire to bypass the tach. Good used pair of taillights that includes two average grade "B" bezels and two used grade "B" lenses with backing plates. No obvious cracks in the lenses but there will be stress cracks that will only be found under close inspection. This tiny little spring has a diameter no larger than a pencil. Its function is to attach the deck lock cover to the deck lock housing and to keep the deck lock cover closed. This is a unique spring to this application and rather hard to find. Check out this video

This would be for the non-competition suspension Cougars. U-Bolt length 7 inches, and threads 1-1/4 inch in length. U-Bolts include two (2) correct style attaching nuts 7/16-20 threads. This size of U-bolt seems to be the most common found on Cougars, no matter the leaf pack stack.  Ford part number C7WY-5705-A. Standard suspension U-Bolts run about 6-3/4 inches in length, see related items.

Used grade "B" harness with one or two professional repairs. This is a very hard to find wiring harness as the XR7 was not even introduced until mid-model year of 1967. The 67 main under dash wire harness has several differences from the 68 which keeps it from being able to interchange with any other year or model.
