    1 Cougar / 1 Mustang Applications

    Description

    1967 Cougar Owners:

To view our exploded view interactive diagram of the tilt steering column parts, click here.

Used vacuum reservoir for the tilt / tilt away steering column equipped Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is a 1967 only design that is very hard to find in rust free condition with a working vacuum check valve. Beware of substitutes as there are close facsimiles with different sized nipples, different brackets or plastic built in check valves. These versions off later model cars can be made to work but just do not be fooled into paying too much money for them. Keep in mind we have used units with non working check valves and or missing crimped on brackets that we can sell for a fraction of this price.

*NOTE* WCCC services all FoMoCo tilt and tilt-tilt away steering columns 1967-1979. Our shop rate for this service is $90 per hour and most columns with serious problems do need complete tear down and build up which usually takes 3-4 hours plus the cost of any replacement parts needed. To offset the cost of your rebuild, you can send us additional parts or parts columns and we will give you an in store credit. Turn around time is usually one week but rush orders can be accomplished. For more details call us at 503-463-1130 and ask for Don W.
