1967 Cougar Owners:

Not correct for 1967 but works as a functional substitute. This vacuum reservoir mounts under the battery tray for factory tilt swing away steering columns found in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang / Thunderbird. Note that some 1968 Mustangs (without air) mount this tank on the passenger side rear apron. This is a double nipple tank, we also sell the single nipple tank for the 1969 tilt-tilt away systems.
The collapsing or imploding problem has been resolved on this vacuum reservoir with the addition of the ribbing for strength.
Replaces Ford Part # C8ZZ-3E547-A or C8SZ-3E547-A.
There is an active thread on the Classic Cougar Community Forum discussing tilt columns and trouble shooting.
