Used smog hose "T" connector. Connects the cylinder head smog tube hoses and hose to check valve. 1967 Mercury Cougar and 1967 Ford Mustang with 289 or 390 engines, and typical California Thermactor smog system. The 1967 Engine assembly manual states that this part has a number of: 379179-S, while in fact it is imprinted with 379169-S. Ford part number 379179-S, 379169-S.

Temperature thermostat for use in very early 1967 cars with 390 engines.  2-1/2 inches in diameter, 195°degree opening like OEM Ford. This is a Stant brand of thermostat. Note, this is a larger diameter thermostat than the common one used on a small block and most Ford engines. Only used with the intake and thermostat housing with large size diameter of 2-1/2 inches.

Metal rod that hooks to the carburetor linkage and the accelerator pedal bellcrank, or shaft. Hooked end goes into the carburetor linkage, threaded end to the rear. A rod end clevis clip is needed for attachment to the carburetor - see part B7A-9826-A. *Note - not for use with factory cruise control.

Used stamped steel pointer mounts to timing chain cover. Correct for 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with S code 390 engine. Must be used with the 1967 style timing cover.

Replacement steel tube for all FE intake manifolds. Tube connects to water pump via a rubber hose. Fits all FE - 352, 390, 410, 427, 428 engines. Best to replace when intake manifold is removed to drive out the old rotted steel tube. We use a little silicone on the smooth surface prior to installation. The connecting hose (and clamps) to water pump normally got painted Ford engine blue from the factory.

Permatex Ultra Copper Sensor Safe High temperature silicone, good for any makes and years. This stuff won't harm your Oxygen Sensors, and is good for up to 700 degrees intermittent. 

Just about the only possible reason to put this poor quality reproduction on your Cougar is that it is a good tool to put out engine fires. No Joke! If you happen to have an engine fire you can carefully open your hood, yank the blanket downward and smother the fire by pushing the blanket tight around the area that is burning. Key stock for 1967-73 Ford V-8 engines 3/16" square straight keys. Ships in 4 inch lengths, cut to fit the different applications. Common sizes 289/302 1-13/32", 351 1-3/4", etc.

This steel fitting mounts into the intake manifold and receives the vacuum hose that runs from the brake booster on 67 Cougars and Mustangs equipped with the 390 4V engine.

Mounts on the rear of either the 289-2V or 289-4V factory cast iron intake manifold. This valve has three equal sized vacuum hose fittings in addition to the steel line going to an intake manifold vacuum source. Ford part number C6AZ-9B289-E. 1967 California emissions only.

Mounts on the rear of the intake manifold, it must be a 1967 or possibly a 1966 "S" intake manifold. There are no mounting provisions on 1968 or later factory cast iron intake manifolds. C7AZ-6582-A Ford engine blue painted valve cover with "Powered by Ford" embossed in the metal. Correct on 1967-1969 Mercury Cougar with 390 engines. We are pretty sure that these painted valve covers were installed on non-GT cars without the engine dress up kits. Most 6.5 liter cars and the X code 390-2V would have had these painted valve covers.
