This is a used distributor for the 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with the 390 4V engine. It was also used on the 1968 Mercury Cougar GT-E equipped with the 427 4V engine.Application is 1967 automatic with smog, and 1968 automatic with Thermactor smog system.

Reproduction dual port vacuum advance for most all 1968-70 Ford V-8 engines. Very close replica of the factory installed vacuum advance. C6OE-9428-A 390-4V factory original cast iron exhaust manifold for passenger side. Even though the photo shows a chamfer where an exhaust donut would go, the proper 1967 manifold would have been cast flush, and a butterfly spacer would have been used. The spacer had a flapper that partially blocked the pipe and allow heat to be dissipated upwards to the choke. Spacers not included. Used 1970-72 black AUTOLITE marked oil fill cap with black plastic elbow. Several variations noted from our collection, AUTOLITE and MOTORCRAFT versions.
