Used coil mounting bracket. This version of the bracket is probably the most common. Typically this version was used on small block V-8's in 1967-68. This version has the 'rails' to give it strength.
We happen to know that there are no less than 4 different versions of factory Ford coil brackets used on 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs and literally all other Ford cars and trucks. Some have the coil on top of the intake manifold, while some years and engines have the coil mounted to the front of one of the cylinder heads.
