Description

These replacement "Yellowtop" ignition coils are copies of the original. Nice reproduction cosmetically and functionally. This is a very prominent piece and a must have when trying to detail your engine compartment properly.

Fitment: 1964 - 1973 Cougar / Mustang as well as other 60's - 70's Fords
Resistance: Primary 1.55 Ohms / Secondary 7,600 - 9,300 Ohms

Nice Product

Good Quality part, but decals are missing.

Car seems to run better with this one than the previous owner's Flamethrower!

This cosmetically pleasing coil is finished well (black paint doesn't scratch easily) and looks every bit as good as the pictures. I am stunned that my '68, which was fine before, idles more smoothly than before with a "40,000 volt" coil. AM radio interference went up and FM down (only audible to those with good hearing). Now that's an odd one...

I've never seen an original "yellow top," but I can imagine this coil as a factory item. It just looks vintage, and with the added decal/sticker, it certainly looks great on our 302 and it works just fine.
