Used coil mounting bracket. This is the later Big Block V-8 version starting 1969. Found on 390 and 428CJ cars.
We happen to know that there are no less than 4 different versions of factory Ford coil brackets used on 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs and literally all other Ford cars and trucks. This version is for big block V-8's, and has a 'flat' strap on the bottom, earlier versions had an additional reinforcing 'C' channel on the bottom. Probably used starting in 1969.
Some have the coil on top of the intake manifold, while some years and engines have the coil mounted to the front of one of the cylinder heads.
If you're unsure on which bracket you need, just include a note as to where yours is located on the engine and we'll do our best to match with what you've got.
