Used original yellow top coil. These have been bench tested and we will warranty for 30 days. We inspect these for damage, cracks, major chips, and functionality. Fits most every Ford, Mercury, or Lincoln starting in 1965. Starting about 1965 Ford manufactured the coils without a round bump for the coil bracket alignment.
These been OHM tested several ways. These should be used with OEM Ford ignition components, not gonna work with speed parts. However these will work with Pertonix ignition systems. Be sure to follow the Pertronix instructions and use a known 12 volts for powering the ignitor. The Ford wire to the coil only has 9 volts as designed.
