Reproduction 'Cut to Length' A/C Drain Hose for the 1967 - 1973 Mercury Cougar.
This A/C evaporator drain hose is molded flex hose similar to the original, but it will need to be cut to the proper length. It is correct for 67 - 68 but can be made to work on 69 - 73.
Replaces Ford part #: C7ZZ-19858-C or C8TZ-19858-A.

The original hose in my car was hard as a rock, and permanently molded into a weird shape. It was impossible to remove. The ring type fastener that held it in place was also bent by the time I got done. The new one was tough to get into the fastener, but with some patience it happened - and then the rest was easy. It's actually rather forgiving, though dealing with this in addition to the carpet was a bit of a challenge. Attaching it to the air conditioner and cutting it to the right length was a cinch.
The rubber is nice & soft so it was easy to fit it into place.
This drain hose fit perfectly and looks correct. The material didn't seem quite as thick and durable as the original but I/m sure it will work fine for it's purpose.
