These are bolted to the rear frame rails and were used to tie the car down to the transporter for the journey from the factory to the dealer. Most often the problem with our Grade "B" deck / trunk lids is rust under the lip. We do not sell "rotted out" deck / trunk lids. Like the deck / trunk lid shown here you will be able to sand blast it and treat the rust so as to prevent it from spreading. This area of the door often cracks due to the stress caused by worn out hinges.
