Door jamb switch for the 1969 Cougar or Mustang with a tilt column.

This new old stock intermittent wiper switch has a two speed wiper function, but when turned counter clockwise, it has a rheostat that sets the different delay times. Switches can be physically marked with casting numbers of C9ZB-17A553-E, C9ZF-17A553-B or C9ZF-17A553-C. Any of which can be correct, and chances are, there are probably other casting numbers out there as well. This 69 switch has a total length of 3 3/8". A 1970 switch can be used, but the shaft is about 3/8" longer....

High quality alternative to the expensive OEM switch. If you have an early 67 the plug may be the dual type which is also listed on this site. This will work with your C-4 or C-6 automatic transmission. The only real difference is that this switch does not come with the FoMoCo logo or part number on it. New old stock power window switch, replaces the all of the switches for 1969 and very early 1970. Master switch panel and individual door and rear windows. Replaces C9AZ-14529-D switch. The Wittek Company manufactured the tower clamps used on the Cougar from 1967 to 1973, the Mustang from 1964 1/2 to 1973, as well as many other Ford and Mercury cars during that period. In October or 1993, the company filed for bankruptcy. This has made the tower clamp unavailable to the classic car restorer. This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.
