If your Cougar has to sit outside for any length of time this is a must. Not only will it protect from unwanted moisture but pine needles and other debris will be kept out. If your cowl already leaks then this is a great way to prevent the floors from rusting. Spring loaded T shaped fasteners make for instant installation and removal, attaches under grate bars so as not to damage paint. Very worth while preventative maintenance item.

Crankshaft oil slinger for all FE Ford V-8's, starting 1958 until at least through 1976. 1967-69 390 engines, 1968 427-4V engines, 1968-70 428, 428CJ, 428SCJ engines, 1958-66 352, and 1968-76 360 engines. Goes on the crankshaft after the timing gear and before the timing chain cover. First generation Cougars 1967 and 1968, used a single bracket for C4 automatics and both 3 speed and 4 speed manual transmissions. These were installed at the factory on 390 / 427 / 428 equipped cars that were exported to countries that did not require the smog system. They are much shorter than the over the Ford counter service plugs you see in the states that are put on after one removes the smog system.

Good used original upper black dash pad for the 67 Cougar. The difference between the 67 and 68 is that the 68 dash pad has a relief cut for the aluminum VIN tag located on the passenger side and 67 did not. Grade B dash will have no cracks, possible missing corner stud and not soft and pliable.

This rectangular trim part is located on the right side of the glove box on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars without factory installed AC. This could be referred to as a passenger side AC vent block off plate. Our used pieces taken from parts cars usually need to be painted but sometimes will pass as-is for a driver quality car. This ultra rare NOS center cap decal features a black background and a chrome walking cat and was used when the 10 spoke 15" aluminum Shelby wheels were ordered for your Mercury Cougar.
