Single cylinder head from 1967 Mercury Cougar with California smog 289 engines, 289-2V and 289-4V all the same. Sold as a core, needs thorough cleaning and rebuilding prior to use. Typically this cylinder head has 1.78 and 1.45 inch valves, and the chambers measure out at 54-55 cc's. With stock pistons, these heads will net an approximate compression ration of 9.3:1.
Basic cylinder head number is 6090. Several Ford casting numbers were used, including the common C6OE-M.
