CURRENT DASHES IN STOCK ARE BLUE AND BLACK Good used original upper dash pad. The pad shown is for a 1968 but will work a 1967. The difference is the 68 has a relief cut for the aluminum VIN tag located on the passenger side and 67 did not.

This rectangular trim part is located on the right side of the glove box on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars without factory installed AC. This could be referred to as a passenger side AC vent block off plate. Our used pieces taken from parts cars usually need to be painted but sometimes will pass as-is for a driver quality car. This restored trim piece mounts to the back of the vent frame of any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Driver side only, made of galvanized steel. This is an original chrome lock knob used on 1968 and up Fords with no peeling chrome or obvious scratches. If you compare the originals to the reproductions we have listed you will see a distinct difference. These NOS sill plates always have some degree of shelf wear due to the many years they have been shuffled around. The biggest difference you will see with NOS vs. the two different levels of reproductions is the finish. The NOS parts are far less bright and less prone to showing hairline scratches. One other benefit is that NOS sill plates already have the FORD decal in place. Sold individually.

These interchange left to right, they are a mirror image of one another. We recently did a side by side comparison of these so called "concours" sill plates and found very little difference when comparing them to the "economy" version... They both weigh .52 pounds, just like our NOS sill plates. They both have a high of luster, unlike the originals which featured very little "shine". Very rare more common version of the XR7-G steering wheel gold plated emblem. Used end cap with the burl woodgrain for the deluxe door pull straps found in the Mercury Cougar XR7 or Ford Mustang. These units will show a degree of pitting, fine scratches and fading. According to the 1968 Cougar assembly manual the Ford part number is C8ZB-65610B10. This part has an adjustment to fine tune the headrest post alignment.

Pair of used wire anchors for keeping the rear most headliner bow stationary. These are fragile wires, and prone to rusting. We try to keep them in inventory. 1967-68 anchor wires are 5-9/16 inches long. A DIY person can improvise these pretty easy, using lengths of regular wire. Ford part # C4OB-6252180.
