This clip is the same as a door panel clip with the exception that it does not have the foam spacer. This clip was used on the 1968 XR7 overhead console, 1967 - 1968 xr7 and standard model upper and lower console pads, seat back access panels and several other applications. This original clip holds tighter than the reproduction. We recommend using this used clip over our reproduction for applications like the seat back because the reproductions often do not cut it. Good used grade "A" core plastic passenger side bezel that may have had one or more very minor cracks repaired. One or more studs on the back may have been repaired as well. Finish will be poor or non existent but this bezel, unlike many we see will not have noticeable UV damage which makes them very brittle and prone to future damage. Good used core plastic bezel that has had one or more cracks repaired as well as other areas of the plastic where pieces may have been replaced. The process of repair will show on the back side of the piece. There may be some sanding required to prep for a finish. Studs on the back side will be broken or missing. Fits 1968 Standard or XR7

These right and left bezels would be considered grade A cores with no cracks or chips. Often there is a missing mounting stud or two on the backside but nothing that shows. The cluster is complete and all the gauges work. If you would prefer a clock over a dummy plate we can upgrade you at no charge but the clock will not work and often will be missing the tiny knob. As the seasoned Cougar owner will quickly point out, there are several differences between the 1967 and 1968 Standard dash bezels. Many of our customers have asked and requested how we clean and detail our parts. We use a combination of items, mostly fine steel wool and elbow grease. Cleans haze, crud, and years of oxidation and water spots from glass, aluminum, chrome, and rubber. 

Fixed steering column from a 1968 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Reasonably rust free column, collapsible style. Ships as shown in picture. This is a restored 1968 steering wheel that is correct for all but the later production, standard interior equipped 1968 Cougars. Only the XR7 & XR7G received the woodgrain center section, the decor and standard interior equipped Cougars received a color coded to the wheel vinyl insert. Good used wheel with no cracks but will show wear on the woodgrained fascia. We usually have several wheels for $20-$100 more and $20-$100 less than the wheel pictured here. Most are black in color but we do have a few colored wheels. Call for the many details and options. Check out this video

Average condition with no obvious blems, but will show substantial fading. A perfect replacement for our woodgrain Burl wraps if yours is caved in or corroded and nasty looking. Check out this video

Grade C will have terrible paint and dings which can be pushed out from the backside with your thumbs. This will require our repro burl applique. Check out this video

B grade pad has shrunk to the point that the center section will not fit well and you may have to file some of the plastic away for a proper fit, it will be curling a little at the top where it meets the wheel and overall will be rather hard from UV exposure. Additionally, it may show some signs of wear to the texture of the graining. If you state your preference in the comments section we will try to accommodate you on color.

This is the 1968 Cougar visor bracket. Not an exact match for 1971 - 1973, but will work. The hole spacing and distance from the windshield is identical to that on the 71-73, the bracket is just 1/8" longer on the side that actually holds the visor tip.
