Fits 1968 Standard or XR7

New old stock toggle tips or 'handles' as Ford called them. Fits 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 models.   Ford part number C8WY-13B760-A. The 1968 toggle tips we sell fit very tight at best.  To make them fit you will have to remove every bit of glue residue left from the old tips and you may even have to enlarge the holes in the plastic by boring them out a little with a drill bit.  Do not put excessive force on the shaft as you may damage the switch internally.  We apologize for the fit but once on you will have an attractive durable set of tips in place.  No returns on these although if you happen to...

Although many would disagree, these are in my opinion average quality. "BUT" they are currently the best available reproduction. This armrest is correct for the 1968 Shelby / Ford Mustang, but works well as a reasonably close substitute for the 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7. The contour is the same as found on the 1968 XR7, the 1967 XR7 had more squared off edges. The texture is not course like the XR7, but rather smooth to match the grain of vinyl on the perimeter of the XR7 door panels, sides of seats and Cougar dash pad. This is the correct horn panel bezel for all 1968 Cougar XR7 steering wheels. The satin paint will need to be resprayed but the two mounting studs are in place and there are no cracks or burns. Unique to the XR7, identified by having the grey inserts. Reproduction pair of black seat belt buckle bezels for the Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang, or Ford Torino. It is little details like these that often make the difference between first and second place at the show. 

Very rare find... A restored bezel will look fine but will never retain the sharp edges and matte black finish like this new in the box original Ford part.

Rear seat belt bolt, four per car used in conjunction with two red washer / spacers. 13/16" hex head, 1-1/4 inch bolt with a 3/16 inch shoulder. Can be either smooth headed or have a Heavy or Light "A". There is another version of this same bolt with a smooth head and no markings.

Good used base for the XR7G with no cracks. The Cougars equipped with air conditioning had the last few inches trimmed off. It is a rather rough, hand cut from the factory.  *NOTE* The base shown has been cut for AC.

These little clips are what were used to fasten the dash face pad to the dash bezels on a 1968 standard or decor level Cougar. They are very difficult to come by and we have yet to find a suitable substitute.
