Product Condition Grades
Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
This is actually not correct for a 1968 but it is all that is available in reproduction. The 1968 front is actually the same 4 1/4" length as the rear. Many people prefer the longer version as it makes it easier to roll up. We do have good used 1968 front cranks for those who prefer to stay with original. The portion that attaches to the splined shaft on the window regulator protrudes from the back 3/16" (as shown on the left in the comparison picture) and will not clear the 71-73 door panels properly. *NOTE* Not recommended for the 1968 XR7 model as it is a tight fit with the map pockets.
