This Grade A quality ashtray lid was located at the rear of the console and was used on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars except the 1967 standard model and the 1968 XR7G. This ashtray differs from other ashtrays you will see on various Ford products in that it has a brushed finish and a slightly taller lower section. *NOTE - These knobs are NOT in the original Ford packaging, they were bought in bulk from a supplier who did not provide packaging. This style of knob was used on almost all Ford products starting in 1968 and continuing on through the late 1970's. Used only in 1968 on non xr7 models and Mustang. Very hard to come by with no splits, burns or cracks. We rarely can supply the color you desire but please let us know your desired color and we will try. Grade A will not have UV ray damage and will look right at home in a low mile car. Satisfaction guaranteed.

Phillips flat head machine screw for attaching bucket seat, seat back release catch on any 1968-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang including bench seat cars. Original screws are trilobed, meaning that they have triangle shaped threads instead of perfectly round. Helps with locking. We recommend using locktite or some other thread sealer when installing. Top bracket that attaches dash pad to driver side instrument cluster for all 1967-68 Mercury Cougars. Standard and XR7 models. Normally bare or zinc coated steel. This is a needed plate, it reinforces the top of the plastic of the instrument cluster and provides some strength when attaching the dash pad. Ford part number C7WY-10C899.
