    Description

These interchange left to right, they are a mirror image of one another. We recently did a side by side comparison of these so called "concours" sill plates and found very little difference when comparing them to the "economy" version... They both weigh .52 pounds, just like our NOS sill plates. They both have a high of luster, unlike the originals which featured very little "shine". We found the screw holes to be just a tad larger on the economy version but once the screw is inserted you cannot tell. If you look very close you will see minimal "wrinkles" from the stamping process, very minor. Look at the photos and see for your self. We personally cannot endorse these as "concours" due to the overly bright finish, nor can we justify you spend the extra money considering the minimal benefits. As with the economy version, if you just lightly rub the surface with your fingers you will be slightly scratching the mirror like finish. Make no mistake, these are the same parts you will see sold elsewhere with a completely different description and price. Replaces Ford part number C5ZZ-6513208-B.

Sold individually, two required per car.

The scuff plates fit my cougar like they were original marts for the cougar, they are so nice, I need to be real careful when I release the seat belt so I don't dent these up.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...

WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
