Rare to find a diecast ash tray lid with no pitting. This design was used on several convertibles 1964 - 1970 starting the Ford Galaxie. The casting number on the back reads C4AB-7630706.

Ashtray sliders for the rear interior quarter panels in the 1969 or 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang.  Slide handle is ribbed black plastic and has ribbing for strength on the slide cover on this reproduction.Not exactly concours, but a close copy. Good used L bracket that is not heavily rusted or bent. Passenger side is marked from the factory with an "R" and driver side is marked with an "L". The portion with the lip mounts vertically and the purpose of the lip is to align the splash shield into the proper location.
