Restored rear view mirror lens for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang.

Due to time constraints, we can no longer offer the service of having your own mirror restored, this is now an exchange based service only.
Any mention of it in the video below is outdated, please disregard.

We STRONGLY suggest you watch our "how to" video prior to attempting to remove your lens and send it in. Keep in mind glass is porous and is prone to staining. Often times these faint stains do not show up until the glass has been re-silvered. About 1 in 8 mirrors seem to have some amount of staining visible after the mirror has been re-silvered. Please send in your used mirrored glass lens only, no rear view mirror assemblies please. During re-assembly, you don't really need to use glue because the mirror housing will hold the lens in place by itself. If anything, use a specialty mirror glue, because some glues (like silicone) can have a chemical reaction with the silver and cause discolored spots on your mirror in time. Check out our video (below) on how to replace your mirror lens. If your mirror lens is broken we do have some restored lenses we can sell you that have obvious chips or stains and we will sell those with no exchange or core charge for $30-$60 depending on the severity of the blemish.

*NOTE* This unit measures approximately 2-3/16 inches by 9-3/4 inches.

Check out our video below on how to replace your mirror lens.

Mirror i received back for m 67 looks and fit perfect back my original frame! Great to have a nice clear rear-view mirror again! Removal was easy, just took my time peeling back the rubber frame and the replacement while a little tougher around the curve of the end was also no problem. Just be patient and not in a hurry.

Simply put not very impressed the first mirror I received had two chips on the sides and the silvering is poor. Called Don and he sent me another one the glass looked good but once again the silvering is very poor there there are spots in the glass that can't be cleaned off it is under the silvering also there are black spots where they brushed the silver on and it didn't coat all of the glass
