Used servo cover from a 1968-69 Ford C-6 transmission. This cover has the big D cast into it, which designates it as an "D" Intermediate Servo Band Cover. Typically, this cover would be found on U code C6's, for 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with X code 390-2V engines. Used servo cover from a 1969-71 Ford C-6 transmission. This cover has the big R cast into it, which designates it as an "R" Intermediate Servo Band Cover. This 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang shield, was installed at the factory to protect the heater motor from being damaged when the Big Block 390 / 428CJ's were being dropped in. As noted in the factory assembly manuals we sell, they were supposed to be removed once the motor was in place. Passenger side (right hand) front seat floor pan. This pan is cut from the full floor pans in order to save on shipping costs when a customer does not need the entire length pan. Left side Thermactor smog tube with the jog and bracket around the coil. Bare tube, installation hardware is not included. Must have the correct cylinder heads with the drilled and tapped holes for these tubes. Also called air manifold, this unit is part of the air manifold assembly.

This tube is embedded into the cylinder head making it rather difficult to remove intact. Note that the nut and ferrule assembly is made of two pieces, with the ferrule being a compression fitting used to secure the smog tubes to a series of ports on the cylinder head. Sold individually, 8 total needed for smog installation. Application is 1967 - 1970 390, 427. 428CJ engines. In 1975 Ford started making these out of stainless steel. This one year only, 1969 S code 390-4V or 390IP (Improved performance). Same jog as the 428CJ snorkel. It is technically a 428CJ snorkel with the addition of an adapter on the heat riser opening reducing it down for use with a 2 inch I.D. paper "S" tube. Ford part number C9OZ-9A626-C.

For all 1968 through 1970 R and Q code 428CJ and SCJ air cleaners. Snorkel has the opposite jog than 390GT snorkels. This one jogs towards the rear of the engine. Originally this snorkel should have had an ink stamp of C8OF-9A626-A or -B. Ford MPC number C8OZ-9A626-C.

Early version of the FE engine / Transmission spacer plate. Has 1 medium sized hole instead of 3 smaller holes above the crankshaft. Originally was for either automatic or manual. Ford part #: C3AZ-7007-A.

Reproduction 6 1/4" Spare Tire Mounting Bolt 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang

This 5 spoke shield was used to protect the spare Mag Star wheel from damage inside the trunk. We currently have one in gray, both are in mint condition. These were obtained from the Tom Sensabaugh estate, and are very hard to come by.

This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This fine example was offered up on ebay summer 2008 for a mere $6500.

This is a good used speedometer cable from a 1969 - 1970 Mercury Cougar with a FMX transmission. The cable housing has no burns and the fragile plastic squeeze clip that fastens it to the back of the speedometer is not broken. Keep in mind that some 1970 models use a two part cable. This cable will work in place of the two part cable seen on some 1970 cars. This cable measures 58 1/2" at its very most outer ends.

New manufactured 4 speed, speedometer cable for use drag pack 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Has correct end for fitting onto factory gear reducers. Drag pack ring an pinion ratios were 3.91:1 and 4.30:1, which needed a mechanical gear ratio reducer in addition to a normal speedometer gear.Cable Length: 70"

According to the Master Parts Catalog (MPC), any Cougar with a 3.91 or 4.11 rear end and a 4 speed manual would have been equipped with this reducer. Boss 302 and 428 Cobra Jet engines were the only cars that could be ordered with those rear end ratios.
