Used original door latch rod for the interior push button lock on the passenger side (right hand) of the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang.Ford part # C8ZZ-6521852-A.

This is an original chrome lock knob used on 1968 and up Fords with no peeling chrome or obvious scratches. If you compare the originals to the reproductions we have listed you will see a distinct difference. This is for the very particular restorer who really is concerned about detail, especially on prominent pieces like this. Good original passenger side door latch rod set. Includes rod for inside lock, outside key lock, and outside door release actuating rod. These are good used parts and are a better quality and value compared to the reproductions. Yes, these were a dealer option available in the day. They cover the painted portion of your door sill that is not covered by the scuff plate. Great way to prevent scratches in your paint or hide existing scratches. Since they are made from stainless steel, you can polish them if and when they get scratched. These are sold as a pair, left is the same as right.  Ford part # C5ZZ-6513242-A 

These NOS sill plates always have some degree of shelf wear due to the many years they have been shuffled around. The biggest difference you will see with NOS vs. the two different levels of reproductions is the finish. The NOS parts are far less bright and less prone to showing hairline scratches. One other benefit is that NOS sill plates already have the FORD decal in place. Sold individually.

These interchange left to right, they are a mirror image of one another. We recently did a side by side comparison of these so called "concours" sill plates and found very little difference when comparing them to the "economy" version... This kit was sold by Ford Service Departments back in the day for those who were tired of their manual drum brakes. This kit includes all you will need to convert your six cylinder Mustang or V8 Cougar / Mustang from manual to power drum brakes. Correct cast aluminum elbow fitting for the rear of the C8AZ-9A486-C smog pump. This elbow will have two single mounting holes. The service replacement elbow (Ford part number D4TZ-9C475-A) has two sets of double mounting holes. Correct Ford part number C8AZ-9C475-A.

Concourse Correct 90 degree elbow that attaches to the intake manifold and provides proper clearance for the emission canister and air cleaner housing. Correct for all 1968 S code 390-4V, W code 427-4V and R code 428 Cobra Jet engines.

Used end cap with the burl woodgrain for the deluxe door pull straps found in the Mercury Cougar XR7 or Ford Mustang. These units will show a degree of pitting, fine scratches and fading. Also, these door pull strap caps are unique to 1968 and they are not currently being reproduced. 1967 has no border and the woodgrain has a different color and look to it. Great addition to that show quality FE powered early Cougar. Unlike the reproduction this has the original part number, BARNUM BROS. FIBRE CO. INC. lettering and FoMoCo insignia at the top driver side. This was one of the last units out the door when FORD discontinued them in the 1990's. New replacement J-nut or they are sometimes called U-nuts. These clip into those square holes in the fender aprons for fastening the fenders on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. These clips are 5/8 inches from the hole center to folded edge. We also see the same clips with 27/32 inch spacing for fender mounting. Numerous other uses, we find this clip on the hidden headlight buckets on 1967-68 Cougar and XR7's.

Used vented fuel, or gas cap as installed on 1967-69 Mercury Cougar and 1970 cars without California emissions. Also fits 1969-70 Shelby Mustang. In 1970 California required a non-vented fuel cap. This version does have a check valve, one way vented. This is probably a service replacement fuel cap.
