These have a different look than the reproductions and we only keep the very best ones, meaning we discard them if they are corroded, bent or have badly worn threads. In addition to carefully inspecting each one we chase the threads on both the bolt and the nut but of course we are careful not to over do it on the nut as they are designed to give resistance when threading them on. These coarse thread nuts have an integrated lock washer with serations for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. They will ONLY work with the U-Bolts used in conjunction with the lowering kits. The thread size is 7/16"-14. *NOTE* Eight of these are required per car and are sold individually.

Here is a real treat! This grade "A" harness is a very hard to find harness as the XR7 was not even introduced until mid-model year of 1967. The 67 harness has several differences from the 68 which keeps it from being able to interchange with any other year or model.
