Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
Up for grabs is something special for the serious collector of everything Cougar. This is an official press release document with attached 8x10 glossy photo of Dan Gurney inspecting the XR7 Dan Gurney Special. These were prepared by the Lincoln Mercury Public Relations Department for immediate release to newspapers in order to spread the word about new and exciting announcements. This particular release features a glossy black and white photo of Mr. Gurney himself inspecting the inside of the new XR7 which, according to this release, had a distinct European flair featuring burled grand touring instrumentation.

We hesitate to call these NOS for the simple fact that photos and paperwork can't be classified as NOS, and once they're read, they technically become used. But make no mistake, these are original, near perfect condition documents from the Lincoln-Ford Division.
