The Cougar used a seat riser that was about one inch lower in height compared to the Mustang so as to compensate for the more plush foam and upholstery.

This seat riser / platform is specific to Mustang, but if you're "vertically challenged"....you may want to go ahead and use this part on your Cougar. It'll raise your seat up enough so that you don't have to use phone books anymore!

The knobs for the seat track release to adjust the position of the seat. The reproduction has a slightly deeper divot where you place your finger, and is slightly more round on the bottom, but a very nice reproduction. Replaces Ford Part #: C5AZ-6261753-BA.

The bench seat brackets are slightly different than the bucket seat brackets. Our premium grade used tracks are carefully inspected for damage before shipping. Most likely you will have to paint but rest assured we do not sell heavily rusted tracks. One set is enough to do one seat, mounting hardware is sold separate. Clean original FoMoCo parts like these in the end are almost always a better choice in the end even if they do require some elbow grease to look as new. Ford master part numbers...

We have a VERY limited supply of seat tracks that are taken from cars that have never been in the weather. These should need nothing but cleaning and lubrication. This Grade B set will need clean up and servicing but will not have cracks, broken studs or excessive rust. Fits all 1967-70 Mercury Cougars including convertible, and 1965-70 Ford Mustang. Used kit includes C5ZZ-6561704-F, C5ZZ-6561705-F, and C5ZZ-6561726-A. Note that many of the 67's do not have the rectangular plate in place as seen here.
