This group of parts mounts to the top of the AT shifter arm and rides against the thumb activated button on your T shift handle. Its function is to lift the cable that runs through the chrome shifter stem to lock and unlock the shifter out of Park. The Ford technical name for this part is 'Roller - Shift Lever Lock'. Allen head set screw for all stock Ford automatic shifter handles on any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford including Mustang. Uses the same 3/32 inch allen wrench for attaching as the originals. Most handles take two of these set screws, one on the dummy button, and one to attach to the top of the shifter lever. The 1973 all chrome shift handle only uses one of these set screws. 5/16" thick sound deadening and heat reflecting material, comes in a 4' X 6' sheet that can be cut to fit. This aluminum backed, tar sound deadener with adhesive is approximately 1/16 of an inch thick and works well behind door panels, at the firewall and under the headliner as a sound, heat and vapor barrier. One per side, 1968 does not use the triangle markings. The letter "D" stamping was in place to aid line workers with correct placement on the car.

Good used lens that has not gone milky from over exposure to the sun. Used only on the 69 - 70 XR7 speedometer. To get these lenses looking new you will have to use a three step plastic polish like Novus or Meguires plastic polish. If your lenses are cloudy or swirled looking this will not come out as it is internal.

This screw attaches the speedometer / odometer to the instrument cluster housing. Two needed per speedometer, fits all years of Cougar 1967-73. This is an 8-32 x 3/8" hex flange head machine screw with captured washer. Sold individually. 

This is the plastic center piece you press down to release your seat belt on the 68 - 72 seat belts. It comes unbroken and without cracks. This button piece has original decal with starburst design. Spring is included. Check out our video "All about seat belts" below.

This gives the thumb release button in your T shaped shift handle its tension. If it is rusted then your button will not return back to its outer position easily. Fits 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and 1965-73 Ford Mustang. Technically this spring fits all Ford and Mercury floor shifters 1965-73. Ford part number C5ZZ-7C300-A. The MPC shows this spring to have a free length of 2-1/16 inches.

This clip is the same as a door panel clip with the exception that it does not have the foam spacer. This clip was used on the 1968 XR7 overhead console, 1967 - 1968 xr7 and standard model upper and lower console pads, seat back access panels and several other applications. This original clip holds tighter than the reproduction. We recommend using this used clip over our reproduction for applications like the seat back because the reproductions often do not cut it. Please email us for color on hand, rarely do we have more than one grade A in stock. Grade A will have almost no warping or lifting issues, soft and pliable and will not need repaint. Very hard to find, one year only part.

Good used pad available in most colors, please let us know which color you need in the comments section and we will try to accommodate. Grade B pads will be lifting at the top, be a little warped and have some missing texture where your thumbs often ride at 3 and 9 o'clock.
