Very nice chrome on this used shifter lever for automatic transmissions. Can fit all 1969-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with FMX or C-6 automatic transmissions. We have found that there is an early and a late version of these levers. The late versions used the C9ZZ-7C442-A pawl. The easiest way to determine which is early or late is the width of the slot at the bottom of the lever. If one nickel fits into the slot, it is early. Two nickels will easily fit into the later slot. Bare shifter arm only, this is considered a replacement for those owners that have pitted shift levers. Ford part number C9ZZ-7210-C.
