Pair of reproduction door pull straps for the 1969 - 1970 Mercury Cougar. Keep in mind that between 69 and 70 there were two different versions of each color. For example, 1969 had the dark green and 1970 had a lighter green...so be sure to order the correct year!

These weigh .50 pounds each, exactly as the originals do. Just like the originals, these are very prone to scratches and dents, even letting your seat belt fall will mark them up. Although these sill plates are better than our economy version, we still rate them below OEM which was also prone to damaging easily.  We HIGHLY recommend the stainless version we sell. These are the same left to right, convertible or coupe. These appear to be made from the same thickness of aluminum as original and weigh .44 pounds as opposed to .50 for the originals but the aluminum used is not nearly the quality of originals. You can literally mutilate these parts with your fingers as you would an aluminum can. We recommend the premium quality sills. Ford never made these in stainless but what a great upgrade! The advantage we see with these is that they do not dent or scratch as easy when you release your seat belt. They also can be polished easily (unlike anodized aluminum). These weigh 1.5 pounds each, triple of what the originals weigh. Sold individually, prior to purchase you will have to email us for colors on hand, as we do not have very many in top condition. The repro version of this grille is very good, so the only reason you would buy used is if you want a certain color (reproductions only come in black) or if you only needed one side.

This dummy plate filler is used on the dummy plate and the lens attaches to the front. This filler piece will be needed when doing the tach conversion. The filler piece will come with the three mounting clips. Lens sold separately.

Good used center with minor cracking, missing paint or maybe even a broken mounting tab. This was used on all 1969 Cougars with a three spoke wheel except the XR7.

Good used center with no cracks and an average amount of fade most noticeable in the red portion of the emblem. Many of these emblems are broken or missing because people think this is the horn button and if they just push harder the horn will sound!

Reproduction silver walking cat emblem / insert for the 70 Eliminator T shift handle. Often times these little emblems are missing from the shift handle because the adhesive has worn out and the emblem has fallen out and gotten lost. While technically for the 69 - 70 Eliminator, this handle will fit on any 67 - 73 Cougar with the automatic transmission.

This vinyl piece glues to the center of your block off plated on Cougars not equipped with AC. These often times have shrunk slightly over time. We cannot guarantee to always have all the colors in stock. Call for color availability or put desired color into the comments section of your order.

This white plastic spacer fits into the back of the right hand inner knob on cars without factory fader or balance. If your inner knob is loose and will not align, you will want to see if this part is in place. 1968-70 AM-FM radios would not utilize this part because they have a balance feature. 1967 AM-FM radios would use this part as they did not have a balance feature. Reproduction thick premium firewall insulation pad with clips for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. These are pre-formed for a perfect fit and appearance and greatly reduced engine noise and heat. The A/C and non A/C versions are one in the same and this unit will fit both A/C and non A/C cars. Unlike cheap paper backed insulation, these quality pads are backed with thick rubber.
