This is the splined shaft assembly located just forward of the arm rest used to mount your interior door release handle for the left or driver side door. We highly recommend restoring our rust free Western hinges over using reproduction hinges. The main reason the originals are better than the Taiwan made reproductions is fit. If there is anywhere in which you want a precision fit it is in the hinges. These hinges have not been worn to the point of being "hogged out" and have been carefully inspected for cracks. Most times when your door sags you do not need new hinges but rather pins and bushings. If your holes are reemed or "hogged out" you will need to buy new hinges or our good used hinges that come with new pins and bushings. Reproduction rubber bumper for your 67 - 73 Cougar or Mustang door latch mechanism. The bumper sits on the inside of your door latch mechanism, and is there to dampen the blow from the striker when you close your door.

These are the screws that secure the door latch mechanism to the door shell. These screws come with the attached crown headed lock washer, just like the originals, so be sure to tighten them down snugly to ensure that the screw head sits flush into the screw holes. Steel door latch reinforcement repair kit. Countersunk bushings and screws for reinforcing the inside the door mounted latches on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. Kit has 6 machine screws and bushings, enough for both doors. The metal on the doors is very prone to cracking in the screw area for those latches.

Yes, these were a dealer option available in the day. They cover the painted portion of your door sill that is not covered by the scuff plate. Great way to prevent scratches in your paint or hide existing scratches. Since they are made from stainless steel, you can polish them if and when they get scratched. These are sold as a pair, left is the same as right.  Ford part # C5ZZ-6513242-A 

Fits both left or right, sold individually. These have a higher degree of luster than the originals but are made of same material and weigh exactly the same as our NOS examples. Very nice reproduction, silver zinc finish like original. Correct texture and even an original type date stamped on the head. Comes complete with striker plate, shim, and screws. The only difference between the 67 Cougar and the 68 - 70 is that the 67 came with the 8-66 date stamp, the rest came with the 11-67 date stamp.
