This little cover glues onto your spoke at 6 o'clock and serves to cover the gap between where your rubber horn switch starts and then stops. This is how most of our taillight panels are cut off. If you only need a partial panel we can do that too, just give us a ring. Keep in mind we only cut panels like this if both 1/4's are ruined. It is getting very hard to come up with some of these cuts. Keep in mind that this is an over sized item and cannot get shipped through USPS, it can only go through UPS. This bracket is used to mount the vacuum storage tank under the driver side fender. Same bracket as was used in 1967 just a slightly different clip.  Two required per car, sold individually. Cougar part number D0WY-13B008-A. *Note - The 1967 bracket was used prior to 11/10/1969 built date.

1970 Mercury Cougar hideaway headlight vacuum tank installation brackets (pair) with fasteners. Two different styles of installation brackets for the 1970 vacuum tank found inside the driver side fender. These are tall brackets, the other style utilized 1967 brackets with round spacers.

All parts needed are included to mount your 1970 vacuum storage tank to the core support (backside) under the driver fender. Solid, good original parts found on a Western donor Cougar. Includes short brackets with correct clips, 4 spacers, 4 long bolts with washers, and 4 shorter hex bolts. Typically this kit was used for installing the vacuum tanks until Nov 1969, it is much more convenient to use the more common later kit for the 1970 tank installation.

This RAM AIR hood scoop template was created by placing a piece of butcher paper under an original 1970 428 Cobra Jet RAM AIR hood scoop and applying spray paint to the mounting holes and opening. Contrary to what you may have been told, the opening is not supposed to be round, and yes those protrusions you see are in fact correct. The 1970 uses a slightly different cut out than the 1969.
