    This RAM AIR hood scoop template was created by placing a piece of butcher paper under an original 1970 428 Cobra Jet RAM AIR hood scoop and applying spray paint to the mounting holes and opening. Contrary to what you may have been told, the opening is not supposed to be round, and yes those protrusions you see are in fact correct. The 1970 uses a slightly different cut out than the 1969.
