    Description

The Big Book is here! This cache of cool Mercury Cougar knowledge features 186 entertaining and informative pages that focus on the 1967-73 Cougar. Don Skinner, former editor at the Cascade Cougar Club, spent 8 years mining valuable data throughout the Cougar community and compiling all of his little gems into "The Big Book." This jewel is chock-full of great tech information, pictures, fun facts, production numbers, rare concept cars and much, much more. Many of the photos and documents in this book have never before been published or seen outside of Ford Motor Company. Combined with high level input and articles from experts like Kevin Marti, Phil Parcells, Jim Pinkerton, and Scott Taylor, (just to name a few) you know the Cougar wisdom runs deep throuout this treasure trove of information. This is a must have for anyone who is a fan of the Mercury Cougar or anyone who loves vintage cars.

A beautifully done book that has excellent facts and info on our beloved big cats. There’s not to many books just on Cougars out there but this makes up for that in a heartbeat.

Lots of information but to its correctness I'll have to take that verbatim. I don't have another to compare with. The writing seems rushed in some sections like there is only so much space for each bit of info.

This book has a wealth of information on classic Cougars and I highly recommend it to anyone who owns or has an interest in 1967 through 1973 Cougars. Unlike the Mustang, there is not a lot out there on our favorite pony car and this book fills a big gap. I was also impressed with the fast shipping from Oregon to Florida.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
