Reproduction power steering drop bracket for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. One must use this part when installing headers with power steering.  Because of the way this bracket hangs down, it will get bumped and bumped hard in time. Becasue of this we recommend considerning our premuim version of this bracket, as it is substantially stronger.

Installation of this bracket is easy but you will have to make a spacer to fit on the outside of the frame rail. Hopefully you bought this bracket first before you tore out the nut inserts in the frame. If not you will need to get them up for now. Then tap the bracket toward the the outside of the car and make sure the cross bolt lines up. Then measure the gap and make a spacer to fit. Grade A hose that is not cracked, may have a small cosmetic scuff in the foam, and the clips will not be broken. Two required per car, sold individually. This Lower Ball Joint Dust Seal reproduction fits the 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, and 73. Replaces Ford part # C7OZ-3105-A.Just and FYI, in order to install this boot, the entire lower ball joint must be removed from the lower control arm. That means grinding or drilling out the rivets, or removing bolts is so equipped.

This Upper Ball Joint Dust Seal reproduction fits the 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, and 73.Replaces Ford part #: C7OZ-3105-B.*Installation tip - The inside diameter of the grommet is just a hair too small to properly fit on the stud. Steel elbow that uses the A/C coupler from the liquid or sight glass hose to the dryer. This is an OEM Ford part that was originally part of an assembly, which included the sight glass hose, coupler, and this elbow. This elbow has the flared fitting common to the 1967-68 A/C connections. We recommend replacing "O" rings prior to installation, which are commercially available from air conditioning service centers.
