1967 Mercury Cougar

This clip attaches by the driver's side front of the fuel tank opening, and holds the fuel line in place near the sending unit. Used on late 1967 to 1968 cars with the 3/8" fuel line. Early 1967 cars had smaller 5/16" fuel line and different routing (through the transmission tunnel) and did not use this part. The reproduction clip for this application has a different appearance, so we wanted to make these used originals available.

Four required per car. *Tip from Andrew Petyak* Found a good product to clean used vacuum lines. Its called Wide White-from Coker tire (or Wesley's White Wall Bleach). Used to clean whitewall tires. Its safe for rubber with no harsh chemicals in it. Cleans up rad hoses without giving them that shiny look. Put small amount in thick cotton towel and gently pull hose through it.

This trim clip is a little larger than the original C4GB-6242364-A retainer assembly Ford used and looks a little different, but will work just fine for the front extension mouldings. Reproduction large moulding / trim clip for the rear quarter extensions and front fender extensions on the Mercury Cougar. This clip attaches the rear edge of the Xr7 overhead console to the support bracket. In 1968 the more common door panel clip was used for this application. The door panel clip can also be used for your 1967 model, we recommend the used clip over the new one.

Partially dipped clip for attaching the seal on top of the radiator core supports. Often times with air conditioning the seals were installed. The factory sometimes used staples, sometimes clips. You would have to investigate your core support for staple holes. 5 clips are typical for attaching the seal. Spread them apart to where it looks equal. This is the speedometer cable clip that connects to the firewall and transmission tunnel. Replaces Ford Part # : 373829

Used clip for mounting the vacuum modulator steel line or tube on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with C4 or automatic transmission. Mounts under one of the top bolts where the bell housing connects to the engine block. This is not a reproduced part, that we know of.  The basic Ford part number is 7C072.

New clip for holding a single wire. Often times this clip is used for the trunk light. Also seen under the dash panel on select years. Most likely other locations too from the factory.
