Original scissors jack. We save the working ones that come to our yard. Hinge points should get little oil or a quick spray of WD-40. Wipe down the residual grease and oil and stow it in the trunk again! Notice the correct placement of the instruction decal. This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. You will notice the reproduction has a larger head (The two on the right in the lower picture are repros) than both of the used versions typically found on 67-73 Cougars. This will be a benefit to those that have elongated screw holes on your wheel lip mouldings from corrosion or improper removal. D1DZ-6561883-A Spring that keeps tension on the adjusting seat track latch, it keeps it locked. 1971 - 1973 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang Bucket Seats. We think that this later spring for the 1972 and up seats was a service replacement part.

Used servo cover from a 1971-73 Ford C-6 transmission. This cover has the big J cast into it, which designates it as an "J" Intermediate Servo Band Cover. Typically, this cover would be found on U code C6's, from 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs with M or Q code 351C-4V engines and 351CJ engines.  Ford casting number D1OP-7D027-AA.

Nice unused space saver spare tire for a Ford. Vintage Good Year brand tire with size F78-14. BF Goodrich is another common brand of tire installed for use with unique storage location, hold down, and inflation bottle. This one does not appear to have been inflated or used on the road. Used lower steering column knuckle for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This unit is used in the 1970-73 tilt only column and can be the issue when you have a sloppy feeling tilt column. The hard steel pin will often waller out the soft cast metal and cause play in the column.
