1973 Ford Mustang

Used upper clutch rod that connects the clutch pedal and the Z-bar on any 3 or 4 speed manual transmission in a 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Has the correct length, critical measurements, bushing, and contours. Ford part number D1ZZ-7521-B.

Special zerk fittings with extra long extensions. Allows easy access to hard to reach zerk fittings. Helps solve squeaky upper control arms.

This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.

This little device may not appear to be all that important, but it has a big job to do when your engine gets too hot. This unit mounts on the main air chamber, it opens and closes the air vent. Made of nylon with a steel and brass plunger just like original. This is used on cars equipped with factory A/C to stop the flow of warm coolant when the A/C is on. Not an exact replacement, but it will work just fine. Replaces Ford part #: D4AZ-18495-A.

Vacuum tested working hot water valve for any 1969-73 Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustang equipped with factory A/C. This valve stops the flow of warm coolant in the heater hose, when the A/C is on. Has the original cast brass valve and vacuum pod. Used but functional, the reproduction version is very good, but has a black plastic valve, like the service replacement valves from Ford.Replaces Ford part number C9AA-18495-D.

Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles. This is an exact replacement for a 1970 remote sport mirror. Nearly indistinguishable from a 1968. Obviously a larger ball and longer than found on 1969, 1971-73 remote mirrors. This threaded replacement wand will require you to cut 8/32" fine threads in your original controller. This is a plastic cushion, washer and/or spring between the lower knuckle and inner tube on a 1968 - 1973 tilt-away steering column. D1ZZ-15525-A 71 72 73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with the factory installed Hurst shifters. Plugs into the backup lamp switch and connects to the harness plug on the firewall behind the engine.

Good Used Clock Harness for the 1971, 1972 or 1973 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang Mach 1. Wiring harness, or pigtail that goes from the back of the clock to the main under dash wiring harness, and ashtray light socket and shroud. The Mustang wiring harness for the clock generally does not include the light socket for the ashtray. The MPC indicates that the Mach 1 did receive this Cougar wiring harness. Ford part number: D1WY-15A006-A and D1WB-15A006-A.

Used plug and wiring pigtail for the brake light warning switch located on the drum or disc brake distribution block mounted to the driver side fender apron. This is a plug and section of wire for repairing the underhood harness. Works on late 1970 - 1973 Cougars and Mustangs. The only difference between the late and early pigtail is that the late plug is white and the early plug is black. No difference in wiring.
