Used tube with a tapered end for the vacuum modulator on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with drum brakes and C4 or automatic transmission, but without power drums or power disc brakes. With power brakes the vacuum hose was connected to a fitting in the intake manifold. Pictured in the Bob Mannel Ford Small Block V8 on page 7-26. Reproduction engine side stud for the clutch equalizer bar or z-bar that fits a 289, 302, 351W, or 351C engines in the 67-70 Cougar or Mustang. 

Ford called this part a 'sleeve'. Attaches to the lower shifter arm with a hitch pin. Has nice bushing, with correct nut, washer, and pin. The 1967/68 and 1969/73 versions are identical. The C1AA-7353-C sleeve has fine threads, the C9OZ-7353-A has course threads. Fits all 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, and we suspect many other Ford vehicles beginning in 1961. The latest research shows that the casting number C60A-6394-B bellhousing may have been for 1966-68 Cougar, Mustang, Fairlanes and Comets with an 11 inch clutch disc.  Shipped bare, no hardware or clutch fork.

We think that this jumper or adapter wiring lead, was used in 1967 when the Neutral safety switch changed from two separate plugs to a single square 4 combination plug. There could have been an overlap where the plug from the firewall to the 14401 main under dash harness changed to the single square 4 combination plug. We have also observed the two separate neutral safety switch plugs plugged directly into the updated square 4 plug.

New Old Stock Ford C4 or C6 transmission modulator valve for 1967-73 Mercury Cougar or 1965-73 Ford and Mustang. Also known as the throttle valve, this valve controls vacuum to the transmission as you press the gas pedal, and it will apply higher control pressure for better quality shifts at higher RPMs. Ford part number C4AZ-7A377-B.
